Whitney attended Lehigh University and found her passion when she worked as a student tour guide in the admissions office. It was love at first sight. Deciding to become a college admissions counselor, she earned her masters degree and went on to work in the admissions offices of University of Maryland, Seton Hall University, and Princeton. After fifteen years, Whitney knew she wanted to help high school kids find the colleges where they belonged. She took her vast admissions knowledge and transitioned her career to work at a private high school and various college counseling services.
Having been on the other side, Whitney is fully aware of what colleges look for and thoroughly knows how to make an application stand out against the competition. Committed to helping children and parents successfully navigate the process, she has made it her mission to help students get into the school of their dreams.
Jeannine earned her master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and studied interview technique, career development and human performance. During an internship at an advertising agency, where she used research to spin stories about consumer behavior, Jeannine discovered how much she loved to write. She hightailed it to publishing and created magazine advertorials, website content and marketing collateral, while pursuing a newfound interest in creative writing. Determined to perfect her craft, Jeannine took courses to master multiple writing techniques and became a published women’s fiction author. She continued following her heart to create stories for young adult readers, finally realizing she wanted to help and inspire students to tell their own.
Coupling her in-depth knowledge of the interview process, along with her passion for the written word, Jeannine prepares students to express themselves and create long lasting first impressions — both on paper and off.
Together, Whitney and Jeannine’s complementary skill sets and knowledge creates a unique 2:1 approach for a full service experience. Choosing the right college is not one size fits all. It should be tailored to each individual.
We will work with your child to find the perfect prescription for application success.
